Feline Update

Here are a few other success stories straight out of the FOHA headquarters!

Our friends from earlier, Twilight and Dexter have both been adopted together!

Also leaving together are our friends Blackie and Fluffy.

Antonio has gone to the home of twins, Susie and Zack where he will need those sad pussycat eyes to get out of their little loving arms.

We have an update from Logan and Mallow... Both doing extremely well in their new home. They have been well adjusted and are taking over the run of the house!
 Mallow

 Logan

Mallow and Logan's brother Mitts, has just been adopted into a young successful family where he gets in the way of his Mom studying for her doctor's degree.
 Mitts (what a ham)

In other news, WE HAVE THREE NEW KITTENS!

 Cinna

 Tiger
 Finley

Tiger and Cinna are brother and sister, and we'd sure like to see them adopted together!

FOHA is Thankful For...

Here at FOHA we are all thankful for the wonderful people who help us in our cause every day.

We are happy to report that although we lost a few government grants this year, people have been generous in donations as well as in volunteering their time.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here are some helpful tips on how to celebrate with your pets!

Tips from the ASPCA:

  • If sharing some of your turkey with your pets, make sure there are no bones in the meat and that it is well cooked to avoid salmonella.
  • DO NOT give your pet raw bread dough. The internal temperatures of your pets will cause the dough to rise and may cause life threatening emergencies.
  • NO CAKE
  • Don't over-feed your pets people food on the holiday. It's best to keep them on their normal diets as to not upset their stomaches.
Some Holiday Treats:
  • Fresh Veggies and Fruites such as sweet potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, and cranberries.
  • Puree bits of turkey with sweet potato into regular cat food
  • Pumpkin or Cinnamon cat treats
  • TOYS! (who doesnt love getting toys on a holiday?!)

Friends Update

If anyone has wondered about our success stories, here are a few:

Logan and Mallow have both been adopted by our FOHA volunteer Maria and now happily live in a house with other furry friends.
